To be able to count your votes, we had to come up with a formula for creating a team so our voting allows you to pick two openers, three middle order batsman, an all-rounder, a wicket-keeper, three fast bowlers and a spinner. We have included ten players in each category to make your choices. When narrowing down the categories, there are many greats of the game who haven't been included such as Rahul Dravid, Steve Waugh and Andy Robert.
We also understand that many of you would choose to have different players operating in different categories and that perhaps you would like to choose two players in one category, such as two fast bowlers who are named in the all-rounder list, but unfortunately we had to come up with a formula to be able to compare votes.
While we want you to have your say on what you think is the greatest team of all time, by voting on the choices provided, if you also want to share your favourite memories of Test cricket, tell us about the first ever Test match you went to, and why after almost 2000 tests you still love this format, then we would love to hear from you.
