STEPPERS


Steppers are great fitness tools that allow you to re-create the effect of walking or running up steps which as you will know can be tiring if there are allot of steps. There are manual and motorised steppers being better but not as cheap as the manual steppers have more control and usually have several level of resistance.

steppers are easy to use but there are a few points to keep in mind,stand up straight when you are using the stepper and do not lean on anything. Also make sure that you take full steps and do not try to take shortcuts by taking small steps, at the end of the day this just detracts from the benefit you will get from using the stepper so you will burn less calories and your fitness will not improve as much.




when buying a stepper you should look for a model that has a console and LCD screen that courts the amount of steps and the amount of time that you have been using the stepper, This allows you to monitor how many steps you do per exercise sessions and try to improve on your target which motivates you to do more and will therefore improve your fitness. You should start on a low resistance when you start and gradually increase it as you become fitter and find the stepping easier, you will find in no time that you are on a resistance level that you thought you would never be able to do and you will be feeling much fitter.
